Mark Badgley and James Mischka were always known for dressing celebrities for the red carpet with their signature Old Hollywood Glamour Style. With the new wave of young Hollywood stars dominating the dress, Mark and James were always busy at creating one-of-a-kind dresses for everyone from the Olsen twins to Carrie Underwood to Ashley Tisdale for all of their events. Their aesthetic was always “Badgley Mischka” but often in shorter lengths and with a definitively young, yet sophisticated look.
It became clear that it was time for a new contemporary line to join the Badgley Mischka brands---Mark + James. The focus is to create dresses catering to a young and hip woman with a busy social schedule. The Mark + James collection has the glamour that they are known for but with a contemporary edge. The collection is comprised of amazing dresses and separates and can be worn day to night.
